Michael David King passed away on June 7, 2025 in Greenville, Texas. He was born on January 1, 1962 in Princeton, New Jersey.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Julia King and Ralph and Elda Bangs; his parents, Ronald and Betty King; and beloved brother, Dwayne King.
Mike is survived by his brother, Douglas King and wife Lisa; sister, Jennifer Donaho; sons, Justin King, and Garrett King and wife Rebecca; beautiful grandchildren, Gunnar and Gemma King; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved friends.
Mike graduated from Seagoville High School where he was voted Friendliest. He was a master plumber.
Mike married his high school sweetheart Angela Shaw and they shared 33 years together. He loved coaching little league. He was sweet natured and sensitive. He was a very good-looking guy who loved his cool sunglasses and music and fast cars.
Mike was an avid fisherman who loved the water, campfires, and any and all adventures. He was a fun guy who always had a story to tell and an infectious laugh. “The thing you can do for death is ride off from it….It’s been quite a party.” (Quotes from Lonesome Dove)
