Michael “Mike G” Gadlin, 47, of Commerce, Texas passed away at Houston Methodist Hospital on September 2, 2021. Michael was born on February 9, 1974 to Jeffery “Bodean” Relford and Vivian Diane Gadlin.
Michael was working for AWP at the time of his death. He was known for his love of his cars and loud music. Michael loved to play dominoes and cards with his friends.
Michael is survived by his mother; a son Midrean “Dre” Gadlin; a daughter Samauryah Bri Lewis; brothers Dameion Gadlin and Derrick Relford (Alexis); sisters Taminka Palmer, Deleisha Relford, Jan Brown, Nikki Brown; his aunt Delois Williams (Maurice); his uncles Billy Relford, Anthony Relford, Bennie Relford and Bobby Relford; plus a host of other family and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father; grandparents Doris and Willie Finney, Joe Relford, Edward Savage and Vsta Watson; uncles Richard Relford and Henry Relford.
Pallbearers are Tommy Walker, Clarence Johnson, Christopher Harris, George Brigham, Avin Johnson, Kail Turner, Garrick Sampson and Anthony Price.
Honorary Pallbearers are Damon Dugan, Gerald Dugan, Sherman Wayne Price, Myreo Sampson, Derick Lewis, Bryan Phifer, Bobby Phifer, Colby Savage, Chuck Savage, and Duke Favors.
Viewing will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church of Commerce. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.
