Michael “Mike” Miller , 78, of Quinlan, passed away on April 17, 2022. Mike was born February 5, 1944 to L. C. “Bud” Miller and Genelle Pate.
Mike met the love of his life Carolyn Butler and started a beautiful life with her that resulted in 57 years of marriage. When Mike wasn’t on the road driving for Consolidated Freightways where he was a member of the Local 745 Teamster Union, he loved to fish. You could find him on the lake or outdoors anytime he was missing. On Mother’s Day, he and a group of other fishing friends would enjoy their annual, week-long fishing campout.
Mike leaves behind a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly. He is survived by his wife Carolyn; daughter Lisa Smith and husband Roy; Grandchildren Michael and Sadie Smith; Great-grandchildren Greyson Alford and Sawyer Smith; Brother-in-law, George Sabolski; Nieces and Nephews Gary Miller and wife Billie; Debbie Mead and Husband Tim; Lynne Sinclair and husband Danny, Denise Rice and Husband Doug, Steve Sabolski; Great Nieces and Nephews Danny, Brandi, Sarah, Rebecca, T.J, Daniel, Payton, Landon and Aidan; and a very dear cousin-in-law Roger Brewster.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carol Ann Miller, and twin brother, Edward Charles Miller.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening April 20, 2022, from 6-8 and a Funeral Service, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Tx.
