Born in Johnstown, PA, to Robert Michael Sajatovich Jr and Karen Lee McAfee on December 13th, 1970. Michelle moved to Merit, TX after the passing of her dad when she was fourteen. In Merit, she met her high school sweetheart, Johnny, and together they had four children.
Michelle was a “Jill of all trades” and worked many jobs throughout her life, including carpentry, cook, waitress, horse training, maintenance woman, phlebotomy, and much more. Above all, her favorite title was “momma”. Michelle had an unwavering love for all her children; she desired nothing more in life than to see her kids happy. She had a big heart for nature, animals, and the outdoors. She loved camping, horseback riding, and fishing. Michelle would spend hours sitting around a fire talking to loved ones. Her only wants were the simple joys of life: to love and be loved.
Eight years ago, she met the love of her life David, and they enjoyed a simple life together rich with love in Pilot Point, TX. David and Michelle enjoyed the outdoors together, spending much of their time camping, fishing, and outdoor cooking. Michelle went to be with our Lord on November 28th, 2024. She truly lived for the little moments.
Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, Robert, and Karen and Grandson Justin Jr.
She is survived by her husband David. Children: Johnny “Brian” and wife Kaitlyn, Justin and
wife Megan, Courtney, Kelsey and Husband Timothy, six grandchildren: Arielle, Arius, Kaison,
Addilynn, Audrey, and Ruger, siblings: Michael, Robert, and Lisa.
