Muriel Burris, 82, of Quinlan, Texas passed away on December 1, 2019 in Quinlan. He was born on April 29, 1937 in Sullivan County, Texas to his parents, Lester E. and Jessie M. (Pirtle) Burris. Muriel married Billie June Hunt on February 22, 1969 in Dallas, Texas. Muriel retired from Tri-County Plumbing.
Muriel is preceded in his death by his wife; parents; brothers, Pete Burris, Bud Burris, Jr. Burris; sister, Bernice Burris; step-grandchildren, Robert Ray Kennedy, Jerry Paul Ocisticher; and step-great grandchild, Heather Boughton.
Those who are left to cherish his memory are his step-sons, Jim Kennedy and wife Sandra, Tom Reed; step-grandchildren, Debbie Hatchell, Lisa and Cliff Petrea, Patty Watts, Terri and Lupe Acevado, Mathew Reed, Delary Harborth; step-great-grandchildren, Chris and Kimberly Kennedy, Sheryl and Kevin Tillar, Robert Jr. and Courtney Kennedy, Kimberly and Trey Harden, and Trina Fortson.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Lakeside Memorial Park, Quinlan.
