Peggy J Reagan, age 93 of Greenville, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 14, 2024.

Peggy was a member of the Floyd Baptist Church and when she couldn’t attend church she listened to services on TV. She loved the Lord!

She was born to the late Jess and Lola Petty on August 31, 1930.

Peggy graduated Josephine High School in 1948. Was active in basketball and other activities throughout school.

She met her late husband, L.J. Reagan of 48 years while living in Josephine, TX. Love at first sight!

Peggy worked at a Dry Cleaners and Haggar Slacks for several years but spent most of her life raising eight children. This was a full-time job for Peggy being a loving housewife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother/great grandmother/great great great grandmother. Peggy sacrificed her life to her kids and grandkids as she sewed clothing for each, cooked and cleaned to make the perfect loving home. Sewed quilts right before her death. Always a smile on her face to everyone that she met. Peggy loved to dance! (Remembrance: Mom sewed wings on her and dad’s shirts because their favorite song was Silver Wings. Mom and Dad danced all night long!)

Peggy Reagan is survived by her sons, Rex Reagan, Gerry Reagan and wife Debbie, Randy Reagan and wife Camille, Junior Reagan and wife Kristy; daughters, Rhonda (Reagan) Smart and husband Charlie, Nancy (Reagan) McGahan and husband Leon; brother, Curtis Petty and wife Lucrecia; sister: Leo (Petty) Young; several grandchildren including great and great great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and loving family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Reagan; son, Arthur Lee Reagan; daughter, Donna (Reagan) Williams; parents, Jess and Lola Petty; brother, Bud Petty; sisters Grace Chapman, Mildred Corman, Nita (Petty) Smiley, Frances King, Mozelle Neal, Mickey Fricke.

Peggy Reagan was a Wonderful Woman, Wife, Mom, and Grandmother! It was such a blessing to everyone who was part of her life! As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many.
