Penny LeAnn (Leeth) McClure 60, of Greenville, Texas passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born November 6, 1963, to Ira Elmer and Evelyn Cleo (Herridge) Leeth in Merkel, Texas.
Penny lived a well-rounded life. She was a hardworking woman who held a number of positions in her life, some of which include working for the East Texas Book Company and working in the Shipping and Receiving Department for Honey Distribution.
In her spare time, she enjoyed the art of canning foods of many kinds. She specialized in making jellies, preserves, and honey. Her signature pineapple jelly was definitely a favorite.
In addition, Penny thoroughly enjoyed outdoor recreation. This was reflected by her taking her RV out on random trips in her younger years, to her simply enjoying nature in her own backyard at any given point throughout her life. Lastly, she will be remembered for her genuine honesty, beauty, and grace.
Penny leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.
Penny is survived by her daughter, Kelli Taylor and husband Jason McFarlin; son, Jeff Taylor; grandchildren, Adrian Hernandez, Cayson Taylor, Riley Taylor; sister, Rena Hall and husband Martin; brothers, Pat Leeth, Dewayne Leeth, Preston Leeth; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell McClure; first husband and father of her children, Billy Taylor; brother, Jerry Leeth, Sr.
The family request donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in honor of Penny.
