Randall Lee Janes, born on January 3, 1965, in Beeville, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, in West Tawakoni, Texas, at the age of 60. A devoted husband and father, Randall leaves behind a tapestry of love woven through his family: his adoring spouse Sarah Owen, and his treasured children and Grandchildren Dymond Cheyenne Janes and her husband Austin Janes, Brianna Shea Janes and her two Children Leeland and Nova Janes, Alexander Ross Janes His loving wife Katy Janes and Their Son Corey Janes, and finally his youngest son Jessie Lee Janes. He also is survived by 4 Stepchildren.
Randall, whose laughter was infectious, brought joy to all who knew him. His playful spirit and knack for mischief made him a beloved friend and an unforgettable figure in the hearts of many. He had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, often found riding his Harley around the serene lakes and winding old country roads, the wind tousling his hair as he embraced freedom and adventure. He would often go riding with his wife and later his son Alex.
An artist at heart, Randall found solace in drawing and painting, capturing life’s fleeting moments with a brush and a canvas. He had a deep fascination with history and Science, frequently immersing himself in documentaries that opened the doors to the past and explored the wonders of the world.
Among the milestones that dot his life, the birth of his four children stands as one of his proudest achievements, each addition to the family bringing him a joy like no other. He celebrated career accomplishments with equal fervor, notably his promotion to supervisor at the City of West Tawakoni in the water and sewage department. The day he came home to share the news, his excitement lit up the room, a testament to his dedication and pride in his work.
Randall also shared a unique bond with the local police force, having once donned a bulletproof vest while assisting them. That moment, filled with honor, was immortalized in a photograph he cherished, a reminder of his willingness to lend a helping hand when needed.
Randall’s legacy lives on through the stories told by those he touched, through laughter that still echoes in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be deeply missed, eternally remembered, and forever celebrated.
