Regina Joyce (Stewart) Hudgeons, age 78, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1946, in Commerce, Texas, to J.D. and Ella (Willingham) Stewart.
In her early adult years, Regina worked as a hairdresser, touching many lives with her skill and care. She had a deep love for classic TV, especially Westerns, and enjoyed visiting casinos. Elvis Presley was a lifelong favorite, and his music always brought a smile to her face. Regina also worked at Haggard Jean Co. in Greenville for a period of time. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, who were the center of her world.
Regina is survived by her children: Benny Hudgeons, Jerry Wayne Hudgeons and wife Andrea, Michael Joe Hudgeons and wife Teressa Cason, and Melinda Carroll and husband Matt; her grandchildren: Billy Cox, Tristan Matthew Carroll, and Tyler Ray Hudgeons; her great-grandchild, Jocelyn Cox; her brother, J.D. Stewart, Jr. and wife Dorothy; along with numerous loving extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ben J. Hudgeons; her parents, J.D. and Ella (Willingham) Stewart; her sister, Peggy Ann Elmore; and her brother, James Ronald Stewart.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas; interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas.
Regina will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
