Richard Clair Bilharz, 80 of Greenville, passed away on July 10, 2020 at his residence.
Richard was a retired Texas Peace Officer in Hunt County born February 26, 1940 in Charles City, Iowa to Clair and Mildred Altenberg Bilharz. He married Sharon Feltz on September 24, 1961 in Austin, MN.
Richard is survived by his wife, Sharon Bilharz; sons, Greg Bilharz, Jeff Bilharz, Troy Bilharz; daughters, Kim Secrest, DeeAnn Harrigan, Kristi Thompson, Shauna Bilharz; brothers, Ronald Bilharz, Robert Bilharz, Randall Bilharz,, James Bilharz, Danny Bilharz; sisters, Joan Bilharz, Susan Sedgwick, 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one more expected in August.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerald Bilharz.
The immediate family will have a celebration of life in Texas and spreading his ashes in Montana to fulfill his wishes.
