He proudly served in the Air Force as Air Crew Life Support. Rodney was a good man who had heart for people in need. If you needed him day or night he would be there. He was a hard headed man yet his intentions were always pure and he was good at anything he set his mind to. Rodney was an outdoors man and loved hunting and fishing. He loved to ride.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Rachel Quattlebaum; son, Aiden Quattlebaum of Royse City; daughter, Kristen Quattlebaum of McKinney; parents: Kevin Quattlebaum of Point and Lana Hayes of Emory; brother, Colton Quattlebaum and Kasondra of Commerce; sister, Shayla Russell and Morgan of Princeton; grandson on the way, Sutton; nieces: Emily “Poot” and Kylee “Lil Girl”; nephew, Hayden “Lil Boy”; along with many men he considered brothers.
Visitation will he held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October the 17, 2024 at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel. There will be a funeral service at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville. The interment will follow the service at Lone Star Cemetery in Point.
