Roy Gene Hobbs, 80, of Greenville Texas, passed away Friday morning February 12, 2021. Roy was born October 1, 1940, the son of Richard and Mazzie Hobbs and later met and married Wanda Beasley and they had two sons.
Roy Gene made his career working on the Railroads, and loved to play bingo, eat all kinds of food, and tend the garden. Roy was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed listening to Dave Robbins sermons.
Roy is survived by his wife Wanda; two sons, Royce Hobbs and Ricky Hobbs; Grandchildren, Frances Hobbs, Cody Hobbs, Darrell Hobbs; Great-grandchildren, Isabella Hobbs, Charolette “Charlie” Hobbs and Cameron Brunnum.
Roy Gene Hobbs is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mazzie.
