On June 18, 2024, Rudy Segovia, passed away peacefully, with his beloved wife Paige, his daughter Nia and his son Jaren, at his side.

Rudy was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but those traits defined him. He also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and very much loved. He will be remembered for all the memories that he created and shared with his friends and family.

He truly loved each of them, and if you knew him, you knew that he valued you as a part of his life. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and grace.

Rudy was a husband, dad, and his most cherished role, was Pop Pop, to Colt, the much-cherished little toddler, who captured Rudy’s heart, the minute he was born.

Rudy was a fighter, whether it was a well-fought battle with his wife or children, or the long hard battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, and the challenges of being a double lung transplant recipient, .

Rudy loved vacations, especially cruises, cooking, riding his Harley Davidson, going to bike rallies with his brother Nat, and spending time with his wife, kids, and grandson. He also loved his dogs, and Harry Potter. His love for Harry Potter earned him the nickname, Juan Potter, by his kids.

As Rudy prioritized finding joy in life and sharing it with others, the family asks that you do the same – go out and do something that brings you real joy and share it with those around you

Rudy will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. He was someone who was taken home much too soon. His family hopes he is riding his Harley through the heavenly golden gates with a side trip to the Rainbow Bridge, to reunite with the beloved animals who passed before him.

Rudy left this world of illnesses and is now free from pain. In our hearts, Rudy will continue to live, for the love that was planted, will last forever and we will continue to love him always, never to forget the memories that will continue in our hearts.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Paige, his daughter Nia Waters, her husband Joe Waters, and the incredible tiny tot, Colt Waters. Son Jaren Segovia, his wife Elaine and their children Madison and Kael ( Butters), and a bonus son, Cici.
