Shelly Kay Lewis, 56, of Greenville passed away at her residence on Sunday October 30, 2022. Shelly was born in Dallas, TX on December 29, 1965 to Donald Lewis and Linda Carlton.
Shelly loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed the outdoors/nature. She loved making memories with her family. She was always willing to help whomever wherever she can. Shelly gave new meaning to CAREGIVER, especially to the ones she loved. She loved writing letters and small notes just to remind you that she loved you. She was always sure to write “smile never frown” at the bottom of anything she wrote.
Shelly will be cherished forever by her mother Linda Kay Carlton of Oklahoma, father Donald Mac Lewis of Lone Oak, daughters: Jaime Britt Lewis of Oklahoma City, Stefanie Renae Herrera of Greenville and Tiffany Lynn Herrera of Greenville; son Christopher Lee Lewis of Greenville; grandchildren: Sasi Lewis, Fantsy Duvall, Colby Lewis, Bri Lewis, Resha Brown, Tristin Lewis, Karis Lewis, Talisha Brown, Zai Lewis, Dillan Barnett, Calista Parker, Leeam Lewis, Drianna Barnett and Chrisleigh Parker; sister Anna Thomas of Grand Saline; brothers: Robert Lewis of California, Ronnie Carlton of Oklahoma and Donnie Carlton of Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Ollie Parker.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. Eric Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery in Lone Oak. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Lewis, Zai Lewis, Colby Lewis, Tristin Lewis, Jimmy Rios Jr. and Jimmy Thomas III. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Thomas II, Ron Reed, Don Reed, TJ Carpenter, Paul Carpenter and Donald Lewis.
