Shirley Ranly, 88, of Wolfe City, passed away May 28, 2024, at her residence. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at St. Williams Catholic Church, Greenville, Texas with Father Javier Diaz officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City. There will be a reception held at Webb Hill Country Club following the burial. A rosary will be held on Thursday, 6:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with visitation following 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Shirley was born December 15, 1935 in Ennis, Texas to Frank and Emily Parma Holey. She married Charles Ranly on July 13, 1957, in Dallas, Texas.
Shirley had a giving heart and took great joy in serving others. There’s no doubt she is at peace in heaven with her soulmate.
She is survived by her brother, Frank Holey, Sr.; sister-in-law, Odelia Hutson; nephews, Scott Holey, Keith Holey, Frank Holey, Jr., Danny Hutson, James Lingo; nieces, Gretchen Shipman, Bernadett Lingo and Jennifer Sheed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and nephew, John Holey.
Pallbearers will be Alfonzo Rodriguez, Arturo Ramirez, Fernando Ramirez, Wade Toeplitz, Thomas Harn, Daren Scholfield, Trinten Turney, Charles Hall and Ignacio Lopez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mel Fox, Richard Holsinger, Erick Yanez and Andy Yanez.
