Teddy Lyman Guyton, 81, of Quinlan, TX passed surrounded by family on March 15, 2022. Ted was born to Majorie Caldwell and Amos Guyton on June 28, 1940, in Calhoun, Georgia.

Ted embraced his role as a husband, father and grandfather. Everyone who knew Ted, knew his family was the most important aspect of his life. He was a provider, a nurturer and most of all a protector. Ted married the love of his life and stood by Linda’s side for 58 incredible years. Together they started a legacy that will be carried on in the lives of the ones he loved the most. Ted embodied the definition of love and loyalty and instilled that in each passing generation. He had the ability to make everyone around him feel accepted, important and most of all loved.

Ted is survived by wife, Linda Guyton, and children: Kimberly Guyton, Suandra Guyton, Brandie Guyton, Dak and Shelli Guyton, and Scott Guyton. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Carley and Lance Waggoner with Londyn, Levi, Everly, and August; Taren and Josh Messenger with Addi Grace and Gavin; Kacy and Erika Wallace with Sylvie and Jack; Kayde; Rowdy and Robyn Spradling with Elliot and Elijah; Tanner and Becca Guyton with twins Colt and Baylor; Hannah Gaudreau; Presley Guyton; and Alexis Hannah. Siblings: Debbie Nailing, Denise Rogers, Dale Kay, and Joel Kay; along with a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Ted is preceded in death by his mother, and brother- Ken.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel starting at 2 PM. Service will be led by Kelly Carr.
