Timothy Wayne Booher, age 67, was born on October 22, 1956 and unexpectedly passed away on September 19, 2024, in Quinlan, Texas. Tim was a devoted Christian, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and leader. He had a warm and welcoming personality, never meeting a stranger, and was always eager to share his stories with others. He enjoyed talking about sports, work, and the Texas Lottery. His passion was collecting tools and working in his shop. He spent many evenings supporting his children and grandchildren in sports and other activities.
Tim was an active member of the Quinlan Church of Christ. He made himself readily available to serve the community through a variety of events, always willing to lend a helping hand and make a positive impact.
Tim is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his wife, Rhonda Booher of Quinlan, son Timothy Wayne Booher II and wife Lyndi of Quinlan, daughter Ashley Shaddox and husband Chris of Quinlan, brother Mark Booher of Mesquite, grandchildren Breana Booher of Rowlett, Timothy III and wife Gabby of Emory, Hunter Shaddox of Quinlan, Everett Booher of Quinlan, Abbigail Booher of Quinlan, and great granddaughter Hallee of Emory, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Booher of Quinlan, his mother, Nancy Booher of Quinlan, his grandparents, Walter and Ninnie Booher of Bailey, his uncle and aunt, Bobby and Etta Booher of Bailey.
The family will Celebrate Tim’s life with a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, followed by a service Thursday at 2 pm.
