William George Martin, 85, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in Greenville surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. at Creekside Church of Christ with speakers, Mr. Brent Sandlin and Mr. George Santellan.
Mr. Martin was born March 13, 1937, in Waxahachie, Texas to Cletus Phillip and Edna Marie Martin. He married Anna A. (Sue) Seiler on February 7, 1959, in Jacksboro, Texas. He retired in 1994 from Raytheon as an Aviation Engineer and was a member of Good Sam’s RV Club for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Martin; son, Phillip Martin and wife, Gilda of Greenville; daughters, Gail Sandlin and husband, Brent of Greenville, Sherri Santellan and husband, George of Highland Village, and Cleta Sandlin and husband, Greg of Valley Center, Kansas; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
