Winston Lawrence Wallace, 84, of Greenville, passed away on June 19, 2021 at Hunt Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Delk officiating.  Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Winston was born July 14, 1936 in Houston, Texas to Minyard Lawrence and Frances Bell Pritchet Wallace.  He married Patricia Ann Jacob on September 5, 1959 in Arlington, Texas.  He served in the Air Force and then started work with TEMCO, E-Systems and Raytheon until his retirement, where he was a Director of Facilities.  He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  He loved to fish and taught his kids and grandkids to fish.  He was an avid reader.  For several years he was the Drive Chairman and President of United Way.  He served has a baseball little league coach for a number of years and President of Lake Tawakoni Bass Club for a number of years.

Winston is survived by his wife, Patricia “Ann” Wallace; son, Mike Wallace and wife, Romina; daughters, Lisa Reeder and husband, Don, Katie Venable, Kristi Burrus and husband, Scott, Sherri Wilkin and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Zach Reeder, Kelly Wrinkle, Brandi Lowe, Jessica States, Kayla Wallace, Micha Shelby, Monica Wallace, Lisa Oneal, Rebecca Kinsey, Kristen King, Hayley Venable, Savannah Wornament, Frances Wilson, Greyson Burrus, Amyah Burrus, Cole Wilkin, Lauren Wilkin, Dillon Schmidt, Mason Wilkin; and 26 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donny Wallace and son-in-law, Tony Venable.
