Lindell Woodrow Jenkins, 84, of Greenville, passed away on February 25, 2022, in Royse City, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, February 28, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Jenkins was born June 24, 1937, in Grayson County, Texas to Woodrow Wilson Jenkins and Eula Faye Malone. He married Glenna Ruth Carlisle on October 8, 1955, in Dallas, Texas. He worked as an auto mechanic and was of the Southern Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna Ruth Jenkins; sons, Jimmy Jenkins and wife, Debra, Bobby Jenkins and wife, Lori, and Junior Jenkins and wife, Shannon; sister, Melba Jenkins; grandchildren, Amy and Doug Gray, Kambra and Shane Bailey, Trent and Kayliegh Jenkins, and Jim and Marcey Jenkins; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Larry Jenkins and Harold Jenkins.
Pallbearers will be Trent Jenkins, Shane Bailey, Kane Bailey, Jim (Bubba) Jenkins, Doug Gray and Tyson Gray.
