Judy Selzer, age 73, of Wills Point, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00A.M. Friday, September 25, 2020 at Oakland Memorial Park Cemetery in Terrell with Jeff Rose officiating under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Selzer will be Nicholas Harney, Brian Blair, Ethan Selzer, John Baum, Kevin Sutton, Brett Wilkinson, and Kyle Harper.

Judy Carolyn Rose Selzer was born on December 28, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to the late Mr. William Flenoy Rose and Jackie Velma Humphreys Rose. She married Mr. Charles Edward Selzer Sr. on June 18, 1965 in Dallas, Texas and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2018. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Tara Harney in December of 1989. Judy worked for the Quinlan ISD for 15 years in administration and began driving a bus for QISD in 1985 and retired in 1995 after 10 years. After her retirement, she joined her husband on his truck and traveled with him from 1995 to 2006. She came out of retirement in 2006 until August 2020, working for Wal Mart in Quinlan in the pharmacy and later as a cashier, where she was a favorite among customers.  She was a hard worker but enjoyed crocheting blankets and Christmas Stocking and doing crafts in her spare time. She was an exceptional cook and her homemade chocolate pie was a favorite to anyone that was lucky enough to try it. She was once a member of the Chapel of the Lake Church in Wills Point, where she blessed the congregation with her musical talent on the organ and piano. She had great pride in her family and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is loved and will be missed by her son, Charles Selzer Jr. and wife Angela of Wills Point, daughter, Veronica Harney and husband Patrick of Forney, brother, Jerry Rose and wife Shirley of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Jessica Baum and husband Baum of Greenville, Brian Blair of Wills Point, Ethan Selzer of Garland, Nicholas Harney of Quinlan, Candace Harney and husband Kevin of Forney and Jackie Harney of Forney; 8 great-grandchildren, Rowan, Sebastian, Avalon, Lilly, Georgia, Kason, Kensley and Liam and her K9 grandkid, Mortimer Selzer of Wills Point.
