Lisa (Slaton) Rorie Gillham 52 of Caddo Mills, passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia on December 30, 2020 in Caddo Mills, Texas. She was born on May 16, 1968 to Jerry Wayne and Lora (McGlothlin) Slaton in Sweetwater, Texas.
Lisa enjoyed her career as a Para-legal. She devoted many hours working on the well known Haliburton oil spill for Godwin- Lewis out of Dallas. In addition, Lisa was an active and faithful member of Cottonwood Creek Church in Allen, Texas.
In her free time, Lisa could be found working with flowers and gardening. She was also an avid reader. She spent countless hours on her Kindle.
Most of all, Lisa loved her children and absolutely loved being a mother. She cherished every moment spent with them. She leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.
Lisa is survived by the love of her life, Kevin Gillham; three children, Connor Rorie, Colton Rorie, and Caitlyn Rorie; mother, Lora Senger; sister, Lorie Roberts and her husband Steve; numerous nieces and nephews, uncle, aunts, and cousins along with a host of loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Wayne Slaton in 1986, and step-father, Melvin Senger.
A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at LYNCH Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas officiated by Bro. Jake Huck. The family will receive friends for a time of Visitation beginning one hour prior at 12:00 noon also on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 and also at LYNCH Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas.
