Vincent Nunez, age 65, of Quinlan, Texas went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2021. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Quinlan Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Crunkleton officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral at 1:00 PM. A viewing will occur on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Quinlan Funeral Home.

Vincent was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 12, 1956. He was raised in Dallas. In the past, he was a member of the PlasterersUnion. He was self-employed and he worked for Steven’s Transport for eight years. After he retired and moved to Quinlan/Lake Tawakoni where he started managing a local property. Vincent really found this place to be his home, where he did a lot of fishing and enjoyed the scenery with his wife Marta.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Marta; sons, Vincent Nunez of Oklahoma City, OK, Rene and Delphina Nunez of Fort Worth, and Richard and Rachael Carr of Barnsville, GA; daughter, Monica and Juan Hernandez of Oklahoma City, OK; bonus children, Rachel Myers of Quinlan, Jaime and Joy Croom of Hurst, Kaisey and James Croom of Hurst; siblings, Juanita Adames of Dallas, Mary Pinones of Dallas, Carie Cannon of San Antonio, Santos Adames, Jr. of Dallas, Gregg Olocica of Dallas; twelve grandchildren, Marena Acuna, Carlos Acuna, Juan Hernandez, Jr., Delilah Hernandez, Abigail Nunez, Brandon Nunez, Issac Nunez, Scotty Carr, Matty Carr, Matthew Silvey, Daniel Hoehn, and Bronson Iver Croom; one great-grandchild, Destiny Danielle Nunez, and one on the way, Isaiah Nunez. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Vincente Nunez and Anselma Pinones. If anyone was left out or name’s misspelled, I deeply apologize.
