Kennard N Pitts, 96, of Quinlan, Texas, when to be with his Heavenly Father on April 3, 2023. Kennard was born to Nettie Westmorland and Samuel E Pitts on May 29, 1927, in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Kennard was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy in World War II, and married his loving wife, Emogene, in 1948 at Gratiot Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan.
Kennard is survived by his wife Emogene Pitts; sons, Douglas, Gordon, William, Lendall, and Robert; daughter, Denise; grandchildren, Robert, Ethan, Dakotah, and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kennard is preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Carolyn.
A visitation will take place on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at DFW National Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
