Aida Lopez, age, 90 went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, January 6, 2022, with her family by her side in Quinlan, Texas.
She was born in Morovis, Puerto Rico, where she lived until she met the love of her life Genaro Lopez. They were married on December 31, 1950. They continued to make their home in Puerto Rico where they had three wonderful children, Hector Lopez, Janett Paez, & Evelyn Ayala. They decided to move to the U.S. in 1972 following their children. She worked with her husband at a factory in Dallas, Tx. Before deciding on becoming a homemaker. She loved sewing, decorating for family functions, and painting. She, also, along with her husband became members of a church where they were faithful servants until the Lord called them to Heaven. Soon she would have 6 grandkids, 15 great-grandkids, and 5 great-great-grandkids, which she has shown what a Grandma’s Love truly is. She was never really shown what love was as a child but vowed to be the mother and grandmother that would love so deep that even in death her family would feel that love.
In 2008 she lost her beloved husband. In 2010 she lost her youngest daughter. In 2020 she lost one of her great-grandkids. Even with such loss, she stayed strong, she loved, and showed her family to never give up hope and to always trust and put the Lord first. She is an extraordinary woman that will forever be missed.
“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” Romans 14:8
