Funeral service for Paul Howard Hopson, age 87, of Quinlan, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Wieland Church of Christ with George Boyd officiating. Visitation will be held on at Quinlan Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mr. Hopson passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas.
Paul was born June 13, 1934 to Charles and Parthenia (Smith) Hopson in Cerro Gordo, Oklahoma. He Married Pansy Chapman in Topeka, Kansas on August 30, 1958. Paul served in the United States Marine Corp from 1955 to 1958. He worked in aviation electronics.
Paul is survived by his wife Pansy; son, Randall Hopson; daughters, Brenda Kinser, Joy Hogan, Melinda Webb and husband, Kenneth; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
