Alice Fay Ragan, 81, of Caddo Mills passed away on May 4, 2023. She was born on December 20, 1941 in Corsicana to Justin and Minnie Bell (Burden) Wayne.
Alice lived a well-rounded life. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville. She was hard-working and dedicated to every task she took on. She was very talented at sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Most of all, she was a family-oriented woman. She was a loving mother and grandmother, known as “Granny” to all who knew her.
Alice leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.
Alice is survived by her sons, Delbert Ragan of Caddo Mills, Charles Ragan and Baraboo of Wisconsin, Randy Ragan and Tami of Caddo Mills; grandchildren, Dylan Ragan, Ethan Ragan, Amanda Ragan, Kelly Ragan-Paske, Brandy Wiehert; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members and beloved friends.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Ragan; brother, Jack Wayne; daughter-in-law, Marijane Ragan.
Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Lynch Funeral Home of Caddo Mills. The funeral will be at 1 pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in the Lynch Funeral Home Chapel of Caddo Mills. Royce Litchfield will be officiating. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
