Jack Howard Moore, Sr., 98, of Greenville, passed away July 4, 2022, peacefully at his home.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating.  Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jack was born April 29, 1924 in Breckenridge, Texas to John and Mable Neal Moore.  He married Anita Louis North on August 20, 1948 in Pyote, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force serving during the WWII and Korean.  He was B-29 Flight Engineer on the 314 Wing and 459 Squadron.  He was of the Baptist faith and in the Lake Tawakoni Bass Club.

He is survived by his son, Jack H. Moore, Jr. and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Jacklyn Kellogg, Chance Moore and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents; wife; daughter, Gwen; 2 brothers and a sister.

Pallbearers will be Billy Arrington, Billy Burton, Mitch Kellogg, Chance Moore, Joe Myers and Scotty Wenzel.
