Andrew Mitchell Threndyle, 58, of Greenville, passed away June 26, 2023, at his residence. A memorial
service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral
Home with Brother Jim Sherwin officiating.
Andrew was born August 21, 1964, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, to Kenneth Leslie and Mary Elizabeth
(Betty) Mitchell Threndyle. He graduated from East Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business
Administration and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He was a dedicated Emergency
Medical Technician and Paramedic for American Medical Response in Hunt County for many years, and
rose through the ranks from Operations Supervisor to Operations Manager. He obtained both his EMT
certification and Paramedic license, as well as being a member of the National Association of Critical
Care Paramedics. After many years of service with AMR, he became the Emergency Medical Services
Coordinator for Hunt Regional Medical Center and Hunt County. Upon leaving the hospital, Andrew
continued to demonstrate his dedication to EMS by working as a Career and Technology teacher in
Greenville Independent School District, teaching EMT and Health Science courses. He was of the
Presbyterian faith.
Andrew is survived by his father, Kenneth Threndyle of Ontario, Canada; daughters, Katherine Elizabeth
Threndyle, Alison Leslie Hooten and husband, Austyn; sons, Nicolas Andrew Threndyle, Blake Willoughby
Threndyle; siblings, Maryan Threndyle, John Threndyle, and Alison Threndyle; and nephews, Kyle, Brett,
and Cole Threndyle, also of Canada.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother.
