Anna Ruth Currin, 98, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on February 28, 2023, at Greenville Gardens. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Memoryland Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Anna was born July 5, 1924 in Greenville, Texas to Noah C. and Osceola Lacks Wooten. She married Bill Currin on September 19, 1943, in Greenville, Texas. She worked for Automatic Gas as a bookkeeper for many years and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Anna is survived by her son, Mike Currin and wife Linda; sister Winona Wooten Foley; grandchildren, Deanna Currin Johnson and husband Larry, Melissa Anne Currin Drager and husband Eric, Steven Lee Currin and wife Lily; and great-grandchildren Gary Davidson, Mitchell Davidson, Edward Drager, John Drager and Rory Drager.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Earl Wooten and Paul Wooten; sisters, Stella Wooten Ray, Martha Wooten Campbell, Lucy Wooten Luttrell.
