Bette Lanell Bost, 90, of Greenville, passed away on March 10, 2024, in Greenville. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Litchfield and Mr. Rick Lynch officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until service time.
Mrs. Bost was born on December 1, 1933, in Ladonia, Texas to Alvin Lacy and Ella Mae McAbee. She worked as a bank teller at Citizens Bank and was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife. Mom loved everyone and was always a good listener. Cooking and baking were her specialties! Everyone loved to come eat at her house. Canning was also something she loved. She has many, many ribbons from fairs on her entries. You will be missed but we will see you again!
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Dooley; grandchildren, Adam Lynch and wife, Angela, and Laci Lynch Boniface and husband, Steve; great-grandchildren, Myle Boniface and Mia Boniface.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Tommy and Charles Lacy; and sister, Bobbie Kirkwood.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Bench, Gary Griffin, Marc Milton, Dean Parks, Ray Wallen, and Carl Thumann.
