Bobby Gerald Sindle, 86, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on July 24, 2023, at his residence. There is a graveside service scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. Steve Payne officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Coker-Mathews.
Bobby was born February 28, 1937, in Tinsman, Arkansas to V. F. and Eddyth Hopper Sindle. He married Doris ”Dee” Turney on April 11, 1959, in Tucson, Arizona. He retired as a Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. After his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for the Union Pacific and Santa Fe Railroads. He later worked with Raytheon until his retirement as an Avionics Electrician. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and sang in the church choir.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Dee Sindle; sons, Mark Sindle and wife, Julie, Steve Sindle and wife, Cindy; daughter, Patti Safar and husband, Thomas; brothers, Michael Sindle and wife, Linda, Jerry Sindle; sisters, Wanda Callender and husband, Johnny, Sue Cliborne, Annette Stagg and husband, John; sisters-in-law, Ginger Sindle, Bobbie Sindle; grandchildren, Josh Sindle and wife, Orrady, Kenny Sindle, Mike Sindle, Matt Sindle and wife, Becky, Michael Sindle, Britney Page, Brooke Samuels and husband, Mike, Brandon Safar, Brynna Safar, Jordan Freeman-Sindle and wife, Chelsea, Megan Freeman-Sindle, Zach Freeman-Sindle and wife, Meredith; great-grandchildren, Aubree Safar, Ellie Page, Tommie Samuels, Mollie Samuels, Emma Samuels, Scott Sindle, Meredith Sindle, Lydia Sindle, Kadence Sindle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Don Sindle; brothers, Charles Sindle, Donny Sindle, Ronnie Sindle; brother-in-law Dennis Cliborne, nephew, Donny ”David” Sindle, and grandson Lee Page.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Josh Sindle, Kenny Sindle, Matt Sindle, Mike Sindle, and Brandon Safar.
