Carolyn Sue McCall Freeman died peacefully in Hunt Regional Medical Center on April 28, 2021 in Greenville, Texas at the age of 76.

Sue is survived by her husband, Terry Freeman; her son, Paul (Tammy) Freeman of Greenville, Texas and her daughter, Paula Duncan of McKinney, Texas.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kacie Freeman and Skylar Morrow, Morgan Freeman and Bubba Teague, Ashlie and Logan Pille, and Keith Akins; and sister in- law Faye Freeman. She has 3 great granddaughters McKenzie Rae, Gracie Mae, and Dixie Lane. She is preceded in death by her parents James Samuel and Johnnie Oleta McCall, and brothers James Lowell McCall and Samye Ray McCall.

Sue was born on September 4, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas to James and Johnnie McCall. She graduated from San Angelo Lake View High School in 1964. She married Terry Wayne Freeman, the love of her life in 1973. Sue worked for over 30 years in the banking industry before retiring to enjoy loving on her grandchildren and great grandchildren in addition to quilting, gardening, and spending time with Terry after his retirement.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Wieland Cemetery, with Pastor Norman Carson will officiating the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sue’s life. The family would like to thank staff of Hunt Regional Medical Center and Jimmy Sanders, PA for their care of Sue and support to the family.
