Charles Dwight Kluttz, 76, of Greenville, passed away on March 22, 2023 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery with Rev. Clint Bratcher officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Dwight was born November 5, 1946, in Dallas, Texas to J. C. and Retha LaVerne Moore Kluttz. He married Brenda Crofford on June 1, 2018, in Paris, Texas. He was a veteran with the United States Air Force and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Dwight never met a stranger. Anyone who knew him loved him. His smile was contagious and could warm your heart. He loved his family and friends so much and we all loved him in return. There is one consistent endearment that everyone he knows says about him and that is ”Dwight is the sweetest man I know.” The best advice giver and so full of wisdom. He was a man of faith and was often sitting and reading his bible and sharing verses.
Dwight is survived by his wife, Brenda Kluttz; son, Kevin Kluttz; daughter, Natalie Kluttz Solomon and husband, Jason; step-children, Cory Brown and wife, Amanda, Amberly Lago and husband, John, Taylor Schellinger and husband, Jase, Micah Brown, Jordan Gafford; sister, Kathy Rosson and husband, Johnny; grandchildren, Nathan Solomon and wife, Rosa, Nolan Solomon and wife, Chloe, Jake Solomon, Jaret Solomon; great-grandchildren, Kylan Solomon, Hazel Solomon; step-grandchildren, Marley Melton and husband, Cody, Savanna Randi, Ruby Lago, Quinn Brown, Tegan Harmon, Tayson Harmon, Tinley Harmon and Jack Schellinger.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Kluttz, Nathan Solomon, Nolan Solomon, Jason Solomon, Jake Solomon and Casey Rosson.
