Charlotte Murphey, of Greenville, Texas passed away on July 30, 2024. She was born on July 11, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, to Aubrey and Nona McBride.
She married Huey Murphey on October 13, 1971, and together they shared 52 wonderful years. Charlotte was an avid reader and a passionate bird watcher. Her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior was a cornerstone of her life. Known for her trustworthiness and kind heart, Charlotte made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She retired after more than 25 years of service from L3, a testament to her commitment and hard work.
Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband, Huey Murphey; her son, Jeff Murphey and wife Sandra of Wolfe City; her daughter, Tammy Schumann and husband Glenn of Greenville, Texas; and her son, Todd Lindsey and wife Rhonda of Harrah, Oklahoma. She leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Nona McBride.
The family will hold a celebration of life service on Friday, August 2nd, at 11 a.m. at Harvest Bible Church. Levi Wolf will preside. Charlotte’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
