Christopher Curtis Fugitt, 55, of Commerce and formally of Greenville, Texas passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024.
A memorial service will be held in Commerce at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. (If anyone wishes to speak of their memories of Chris you may do so.)
Chris was born on November 24, 1968 in Greenville, Texas to Phil Fugitt and Kay Reese. He attended Greenville Christian School and graduated from Greenville High School in 1987. He attended the University of Texas in Austin and was a devoted Texas Longhorn fan and enjoyed watching the games with his dad and brother.
Chris was fun-loving and had numerous friends as he never met a stranger. He loved the simple life, his friends, and co-workers at Wal-Mart. Chris was employed with Wal-Mart in Commerce for almost two decades where he made lifelong friends with all who crossed his path.
Chris is survived by his step-mother Janna Hammons and his brother Mark.
He is preceded in death by his father, Phil Fugitt, and his mother, Kay Reese.
Chris will be forever in our hearts and to those who were fortunate to know him.
