Donald  Rudolph Crouse, 87 of Quinlan, Texas passed away on January 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 4, 1936 to Glen Wilson and Violet (Larson) Crouse in North Platte, Nebraska. He was lovingly known as Papaw to everyone who knew him.

Don is reunited with the love of his life, Rosella who preceded him in death in August 2023. They are now dancing across the stars together arm in arm.

Don proudly served his country in the United States Army in the special forces during the Korean War era.  He retired as a Journeyman  Electrician, and then started his own business, Mr. C’s Carpet and Vent Cleaning Company.  He cared about his community and mankind in general and was committed to charity work with children. He will be remembered for having a huge and caring heart.

Don leaves lasting and wonderful memories for his family and friends.

Don is survived by his daughter, Melinda Ross and husband Richard “Ross”; son, Michael Jay Crouse; stepsons, John Buckner and wife Debbie, Jeff Buckner and wife Toni; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rosella.

The family will host a private memorial at a later date.
