Dorotha Evelyn Craig, 81, of Quinlan, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Quinlan. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 13, 2020 at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Muske officiating. Interment will be at Creagleville Cemetery in Grand Saline. 

Evelyn was born on August 19, 1938 in Davis, Oklahoma where she was raised until she was 16 years old and moved to Dallas, TX. She is the daughter of the late James Carlton Jones and Roxie Digby Kellum. Evelyn married Garland Odell Craig on September 1, 1972.  She worked in the deli of Minyard Food Store for 20 years and was also a housewife and mother. Evelyn loved sitting on the front porch and being with her family and church.  As a result of her faith in Jesus and her love and prayers for her family, she greatly impacted all of them with her Christian witness and love.  Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents James Carlton Jones and Roxie Digby Kellum, her brothers Dwight Jones and Billy Jones; and sisters Helen Kellum and Glenda Jones.

She was loved and will be missed by her husband Garland; sons Danny Huckaby of Caddo Mills, Gary Huckaby of Rockwall, James Huckaby of Garland, and Wesley & Susan Craig of San Antonio, twelve grandchildren (Monica Ruff, Brandy Nalls, Cyndle McDowell, Danny Huckaby, Lisa Huckaby, Kimberly Kiernan, Jaime Huckaby-Hagen, Jeremy Huckaby, Steven Huckaby, Michael Huckaby, Meadow Craig and Ellison Craig), and sixteen great-grandchildren.
