Eric Wayne McGarity 35 of Wolfe City, passed away on May 30, 2022. He was born on December 1, 1986 to Donald Wayne and Kenie Lee (Reinert) McGarity in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Eric very proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 13 years.
He was full of life and loved living.
Most of all, Eric absolutely adored his family and friends. He loved each one from the depths of his heart and cherished every moment spent with each member.
Eric leaves lasting and wonderful memories for his family and friends.
Eric is survived by his mother, Kenie Blunt and husband Danny; children, Devontae McGarity, Axton McGarity; sister, Shawna Armstrong and husband T.J.; brothers, Cody Blunt, Dusty Blunt; numerous nieces and nephews; friend and mother of his children, Brittany McGarity; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
Eric is preceded in death by his father.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, TX.
The Memorial Service will be held days later on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Wolfe City High School Gymnasium located at 8553 TX-34, Wolfe City, Texas 75496.
Honorary pallbearers include Devontae McGarity, Axton McGarity, Josh Collins, Josh Hablinski, Josh Sweet, Jason Campbell, Richie Crowell, John Allen, Colton Anderson, along with his fellow veterans, Link, Mingchai, Clook, Rod, Lara, and Mora.
