Ima Jean Clark, 92, of Caddo Mills, Texas, went to her Heavenly Father on June 2, 2022. Ima was born on February 23, 1930 to Sam Helton and Evylean (Neeley) Helton in Caddo Mills, Texas. Ima Jean was married to Herbert Gerald Clark on November 26, 1949.

Ima Jean is survived by her son, Jerry Clark and wife Sonya of Caddo Mills; grandsons, Daniel Clark and wife Kris Ann of Commerce, Dustin Clark and wife Nancy of Mabank; granddaughter, Amber Harvey and husband Brian of Josephine; brother, Jimmy Wayne Helton and wife Shirley of Clinton; sisters-in-law, Serena Helton of Greenville and Pat  Clark of Lubbock; great grandchildren, McClaine Clark and Brooks Clark of Commerce, Grady Clark, Callen Clark and Jolie Clark of Mabank. She also leaves a host of loving family and friends.

Ima is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Gerald Clark; parents, Sam Helton and Evylean (Neeley) Helton; brother, S.E. Helton Jr.; and sister, Ruby Helton.

Ima’s life was “Family comes first!” She will truly be missed by family and friends, but her legacy lives on in everyone she met.

The family will be accepting guests at  10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills, Texas. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel with a committal service at I.O.O.F. cemetery of Caddo Mills immediately following.
