Florence McKinney, 90, of Greenville, passed away on July 3, 2020 at Briarcliff Health Center. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the D/FW National Cemetery.
Florence was born May 31, 1930 in Greenwood, Delaware to Philip and Elizabeth Dolbow Houston. She married Frederick M. McKinney in Greenwood, Delaware on May 5, 1962. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and worked as a dietitian. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Florence is survived by her sons, Timothy McKinney and wife, Cindy, Patrick McKinney and wife, Beth; sister, Harriett Houston; grandchildren, Andrew McKinney, Hannah Skinner, Kristina McKinney, Zoe Hawkins, Matthew McKinney, Evangeline McKinney and great-grandchild, Ezra Hawkins and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter Krista McKinney and siblings: Beulah Kulmack, Owens Houston, Elizabeth Houston, Robert Houston, Mary Houston, Margaret Fooks, and Elsie Houston.
