Frances Lee Pettit, age 65, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her home in Lone Oak. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Lone Oak Methodist Church with Beth Ensor officiating under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Small Cemetery in Edgewood.
Pallbearers for the service will be Marvin Holden, Robert Beaty, Cody Beaty, Tyler Lape, Rudy Barrious, Haden Phillips and Adrian Sanchez.
Frances Pettit was born on November 1, 1954 in Falfurrias, Tx. She was the daughter of the late James Clarence Holden and Evelyn Pearl Graham Holden. She married Mr. Robert Pettit on September 9, 1995 in Magnolia, Texas. Frances had an incredible passion for horses. She loved to ride horses and was a longtime member of the American Horse Association and the Arabian Horse Association. She was a member of the Lone Oak Methodist Church. She was a past member of Point Comfort Methodist Church in Point Comfort, Texas where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Frances also loved to paint and was an incredibly talented artist.
She is loved and will e missed by her loving husband, Robert Pettit of Lone Oak, daughter, Mashonie Beaty and husband Robert of Edgewood, brother, Dwight Holden Sr. of Richardo, sisters, Twila Darlene Holden of Beaumont and Rose Etta Hernandez of Quinlan, 4 grandchildren, Dusty Beaty, Cody Beaty, Victoria Beaty, and Melody Beaty.
Visitation for Frances will be held Tuesday from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
