George Fay Littlefield, born August 11, 1941, in Wylie, Texas, to Ray A. and Pearl (Spurgin) Littlefield, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, at the age of 83.

George was a devoted Christian whose life was a testament to his unwavering faith and love for Jesus Christ. He was a long-time, faithful member of Vansickle Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas, where he found joy in worship and service. Above all, George cherished his family.  He wed his beloved wife, Carol Ann Hughes on June 30, 1961.  Together they raised a beautiful family. His life was filled with love and devotion to those closest to him.

He is survived by his children: Tim Littlefield and wife Shelly, Tom Littlefield and wife Debbie, Andrew Littlefield and wife Mary, and Cheryl Czappa and husband John; grandchildren, Amber Cottrell and husband Brandon, Michelle Joyner and husband Jacob, Rebecca Plafcan and husband Chris, and Emily Czappa; great-grandchildren, Emmitt Joyner, Cooper Joyner, and Andy Czappa-Plafcan; as well as his siblings, Paulette Robinson and husband Keith (Nikki), Barbara Walker, Gloria Littlefield; along with numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, including Ronnie Hughes, Polly Hughes, Rocky Hughes, Tracy Dore, Judy Bedison, and Teresa Emerson. George is also survived by a host of loving extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his bride, Carol Ann Littlefield, his parents, Ray and Pearl Littlefield, and his twin brother, James Littlefield, and brothers-in-law, Charles “Shorty” Walker and Michael Hughes.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville. The funeral service will take place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 am at Vansickle Baptist Church in Greenville. Interment will follow at Lynch Memorial Park. Brother Roger Ratliff and Dr. David Upchurch will officiate.
