Gonzalo Garcia, Jr., 65, of Greenville, TX, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2024, at Hunt Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Gonzalo Jr. was born on August 29, 1958, in El Campo, Texas, to Gonzalo Garcia, Sr. and Trinidad DeLeon.
Gonzalo Jr. was never married.
His family is forever grateful to God for allowing sweet and special memories to be made between Uncle Jr. and his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends whom he loved dearly and in a unique way. The memories made will hold a special place in their hearts.
Gonzalo Jr. was strong-willed and stubborn at times but had an enormous heart and a great sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave when thinking of others and willing to help those in need. He was full of
knowledge he had gained through all his life experiences, and he could fix or build anything. He made friends easily and loved gardening, planting, and collecting old things. He was known for his long hair and always having a bandana around his head. Despite his battle with colon cancer
and other health issues that arose in such a short time. He also overcame so many things to help with his battle with cancer. During this time, he carried himself with dignity and strength, which undoubtedly helped him deal with his health challenges. His firm belief in God supported
him in his struggles and ultimately gave him peace.
Gonzalo Jr. was a strong fighter; we know he is free from pain. He passed from here to eternity to be healthy and whole again.
