Harold Steven Thompson, 70, of Greenville, passed away March 5, 2020 at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Jackson officiating.
Steven was born November 3, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to John Harold Thompson and Mizell Genobia Harrell Thompson. He married Diane Hackler on June 4, 1988 in Greenville, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Navy and work with the Greenville Fire Department for 32 years. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Thompson of Greenville; daughters, Chereé Fikes of Greenville, Rachaele Suggs and husband, Craig of Lone Oak; Brother, Bill Thompson and wife, Blanca of Greenville; grandchildren, Brooklyn Fikes, Bradley Fikes, Keegan Suggs, Kerigan Suggs, Reed Suggs; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Paula Wallace.
