LONE OAK – Services for Harvey Allen Keelin, 90, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Lone Oak Baptist Church, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Lone Oak, with Bro. Mark Slaughter officiating.
Burial will be in Hall Cemetery.
Mr. Keelin passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at his residence.
He was born March 13, 1929, in Lone Oak, to the late Harvey Shelton and Leslie Medders Keelin. He was a lifelong resident of Lone Oak, a dozer operator, and a Baptist.
Survivors include sons, Eddie Keelin of Quinlan and Kelly Keelin of Lone Oak; stepson, Eugene Eacret of Lone Oak; daughters, Kathy Govan, of Lone Oak, Laura Keelin, of Quinlan, Sandy Keelin of Lone Oak, and Tia Rhodes and husband Willie of Lone Oak; stepdaughter Sonya Thompson and husband Tommy of Anna; sisters Wanda Morrow and husband Bill of Lone Oak, and Prissy Blocker and husband Landell of San Antonio; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, a brother, a daughter, and a son.
Pallbearers are Wesley Govan, Matthew Rhodes, Michael Oliver, Chris Harris, Dylan Gibson, and Tristan Govan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, 6-8 p.m.
