Ida Mae (McWhorter) Shipp, 73, of Greenville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence. Memorial service’s celebrating Ida’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at First Pentecostal Church of God in Greenville with Sister Joyce Nelson-Pattison officiating.

Ida was born on March 3, 1946 in Greenville. She is the daughter of the late William and Bina Barnette McWhorter. She was raised and educated in Lancaster. Ida married Robert Wayne Shipp on August 5, 1995 and they made their home in Greenville. She was a 30 Year member of First Pentecostal Church of God in Greenville and she loved her church and The Lord. She was also preceded in death by her son Donnie Eugene Reagan, grandchildren Timothy Segura and Emily Chapa, and brother Dale McWhorter. Ida was a homemaker and a wonderful Mother to her children. She enjoyed reading romance novels and watching movies but, her favorite times were spent with her family and grandchildren.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband Robert Wayne Shipp; son Ricky Reagan of Malakoff; daughters Sherrie Kay Segura and husband Danny of Kaufman, Vicki Semmler and husband Micah of Greenville; sisters Wanda Mackey of Canton and Tami Ball and husband Mike of League City; grandchildren Heather, Sarah, Matthew, Adam, Josh, James, Hannah, Kenzie, Brittany, Isaac, Elijah, Miah and 14 great-grandchildren.
