Iva Lee Smith, 93, of Quinlan passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at her home. Iva Lee was born on July 22, 1927 in Hunt County the daughter of James David Young and Beulah (Junior) Young. She married Warren D Smith on April 24, 1946 in Greenville. She was a loving wife and dear friend to many people in Quinlan. She was a member of CrossPoint Family Church in Quinlan.
Iva Lee is preceded in her death by her husband Warren D Smith; parents, James and Beulah Young; brothers, Elton McCrary, Ernest McCrary, Elbert McCrary, Dewey Young, and Carl Young.
Iva Lee is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Smith; nieces, Pat Chesley, Rebekah Parrish, Karen Koester, and Jan Harritt: nephews, Mike McCrary, Ricky Smith, Steve Smith, J. L. Green Jr., Larry Green, Ronnie Green, and Mike Claflin.
There will be a viewing visitation on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM with her funeral service at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with Pastor David Hammond officiating. Memorial donations can be made in memory of Iva Lee to CrossPoint Family Church.
