James Allen “Jim” Talmon, 56 of Greenville passed away on June 25, 2022.  He was born on January 12, 1966, son of Jaclyn Jendrek and Donald Talmon in  Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Jim loved the Lord and lived his life as a devoted Christian man. He had several hobbies which included playing (and being very good at) pool, going fishing, and playing dominoes.  In addition, he was an avid sports watcher, loving to watch Texas Pro teams and College teams.  Also, he enjoyed the adventure in traveling, going to new places and sampling the local foods and craft beers.

Jim was a dedicated life-long employee of L-3 Harris in Greenville, Texas.  He was a hard worker with 35 years of loyal service.

Most of all, Jim will be remembered for his extreme love, passion and dedication to family. To Jim, family was the most important aspect of life. He believed family is what you make it and he poured his heart into each family member, being generous with all that he had.

Jim leaves lasting and wonderful memories for his family and friends.

Jim is survived by his bride, Janna, and their children Amanda Greene, Jeff Talmon (Hailey Wood), Nicki Talmon, Bethany Talmon (Colton White), Jillian Price, Jordan Price (Wayne Hagemann), Jaycie Munoz (Ruben), and Phillip Preston.  He is also survived by grandchildren Cameron Donell, Elijah Hagemann, Jude Munoz, multiple family pets, and a host of loving relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jaclyn, and grandparents Alva and Grace Johnson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10 AM in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville, with Rev. Jason R. Pointer officiating.
