Jeremy Royce Smith, AKA Bubba Nix, was born on June 8, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to Billy Smith and Wanda Newsom. Bubba passed away on February 18, 2021, at 46 years old in his home in Quinlan, Texas.
Bubba was proceeded in death by his mother, Wanda Newsom; his sister, Angela Roland; and his brother-in-law, Mike Nix, Sr.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Billy and Leithia Smith of Bresheer, Texas; his sister, Tammy Nix of Quinlan, Texas; his nephews, Mike Nix, Jr. and wife Deanna of Quinlan, Texas, Jonathan Sisson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Lewis Roland of Oklahoma; his nieces, Lynette Sisson of Oklahoma, and Aspen Roland of Oklahoma; and many more family and friends.
Bubba was a roofer for most of his life, and he loved his Harley something serious. He was a pro at darts; anyone who knew Bubba knew not to bet him playing darts, because he did not lose. Bubba had an amazing heart and would help anyone anyway he could. One thing’s for sure, Bubba died loving America. He will forever be missed. Rest easy Bubba, we will see you on the other side.
